Reducing chemicals in the timber supply chain

WPMA, 2009-2010

Led a pan-industry collaboration with the Department of Building and Housing to simplify the rules for timber treatment in houses. This resulted in the removal millions of litres of toxic chemicals from the timber supply chain, massively reduced treated timber waste, improved the safety of timber workers, frame and truss plant workers and builders nationwide and increased supply chain efficiency.
